The following projects are some recent examples of the work I deliver
Go Daddy & Google Migration
This project for a multi national/multi lingual consultancy involved the purchase and setup of a new Microsoft 365 tenancy, migration of user details, mailboxes, OneDrives and Teams from Go Daddy Microsoft 365 to a new Microsoft 365 tenant. It also included the setup of new Teams and SharePoint sites, configuration of document libraries in SharePoint and migration of files from Google Docs.
Migration tools from Microsoft and Bittitan were used for the migration.
Careful plannning was required due to staff being located in different timezones. Staff assistance was provided to enable the latest MFA, updates to Outlook profiles across PC's MAC's and Mobiles.
The project is ongoing with a look at business process automation.
Online Forms Portal
A public sector customer provided the public with a site of pdf forms to download and complete offline. Following their recent move to Microsoft 365 I designed and delivered a modern integrated Online forms solution using the new Microsoft Power Pages.
Using Power Pages ensured a consistent brand with the customer website.
Online forms were created with a Dataverse backend and business process efficiency introduced to capture data into SharePoint lists and libraries. Power Automate was used to interact with staff and SharePoint list functionality used to provide a centralised view of form data.
To minimise costs I identified several staff to train so they could add additional forms into the portal.
Engineering Workflow Automation
A UK based Engineering company already used Microsoft 365 for general email and document sharing. I proposed and delivered a project management portal that included:
- Power Automate workflows to copy individual, group and project calendar items into a central SharePoint Calendar view
- Online form to capture machine data for maintenance and Power Automate workflows to assign Planner tasks to engineers
Microsoft Partner Training
I frequently work as an external consultant to other Microsoft 365 partners who specialise in Microsoft 365 core services and ongoing support.
Many partners use a basic "lift & shift" approach to migrate file share content into OneDrive or SharePoint.
I train their engineers and also their customers to highlight the benefits of a properly configured and secured SharePoint Document Management system. This enables the partner to offer a better solution to their customers and to use me as and when needed.
